Same thing here. The error occurs every night on a Windows 2003 Standard Server with MS-Exchange 2003 for about 30 minutes during backup. WMI graphs continue to work, but SNMP graphs (CPU utlilization, LAN packets, memory) are disrupted.
CPU utilization alone can't be the issue because it is elevated to a moderate 15 to 25%. Sometimes Disk busy times is above 90% but there are times when it is constantly down to 5% and SNMP is still disrupted. The disruption starts immediately after ESE has finished its Post office scan and I assume that actual backup lan traffic starts at that time.
