Well, I'm not using 2.3 yet, and it is supposed to be quite different in 
some ways... Maybe someone else can chime in, but let's try what I know.

1) I'm assuming you've set up monitoring of devices with SNMP. The add 
device completed successfully so you can access SNMP on the device with 
the community you've specified.

2) You've added a Linux device. Have you configured net-snmp correctly? 
the easy method is
rocommunity public

3) You've waited and gotten nothing.

Is this correct?
