I believe Escalate Count is set at the Threshold definition on the Template. So if you wanted a CPU event to go from Warning to Error after ten counts, you'd add 10 to the Escalate Count field under e.g. http://zenoss:8080/zport/dmd/Devices/Server/Linux/RHEL4/rrdTemplates/Device/thresholds/CPU%20Utilization
I got that from this page: Chapter 14. Performance Monitoring section 6. Thresholds http://www.zenoss.com/community/docs/zenoss-guide/2.3.0/ch14s06.html > > Escalate Count - If the threshold is broken this many consecutive times the > severity of the event will be escalated one step. > Hope this helps, David -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=30366#30366 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
