This is still happening, despite various things I've tried (running
discoveries manually, which works fine; tracing the process when it
runs, which shows nothing out of the ordinary). Last night at 1800 I
watched it flail again, and this morning's 0600 run generated a 3.5GB
logfile before I got to the machine to kill it.
