I've searched through the forums, but I couldn't find the information that is relevant to my situation. I need to know if a local zenoss can push events to a global zenoss instance without the global establishing a connection to the local? The connection between the two is a one-way read-only connection (a data diode) down from the secondary zenoss server. I've read about the ZenGlobe software, but that needs to be able to login to the local servers; is it possible to change that requirement?
Here is a flow diagram, notice the direction of the arrows. [monitored device] <-> [originating zenoss] -> [global zenoss reading pushed local zenoss data] If this is possible could someone point me to the documentation that states this, or the procedures to enable this behavior. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=31904#31904 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
