It's been a year since the last post on this topic, and I just wanted to let the community know that the DST issue with Zenoss schedules has not yet been fixed. However, according to a Zenoss knowledge base article published today it will be fixed in 2.4, so look for that.
I wasn't sure if the contents of the KB article were available to users without an Enterprise agreement, but I still wanted to make it known that if you have any schedules set up in Zenoss, you'll need to adjust them as needed after Sunday morning. One way to mitigate the issue that has worked for me in the past is just to reset your recurring schedules' start dates to a date after the time change; i.e., on or after 3/8/2009. Another workaround as suggested by the knowledge base article is to set your server's localtime to UTC. The downside of this is obviously that all times will be in UTC, which may confuse users who are used to seeing (and working with) their local time. --seth -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=31955#31955 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
