Wondering if anyone has found a way to bridge zenoss enterprise with zenoss core. Here is the rationale:
We have a web farm, 50+ apache listeners running as separate processes across 6 nodes (=300+ listeners). I want to be able to monitor them with apacheMonitor zenpack which is part of core. We are currently paying for enterprise on 300 physical servers and would tear into that pretty quickly for the 300 listeners. The only other way I know to do this is to duplicate the templates over and over which would create a MESS in the perf tab. Another solution (i guess) would be to create a component off the http process and treat it like a disk... have an apache tab that you could then click on to get the stats on each listed instance.
