do you have many users ? must be a reason the CPU is doing that work, its not normal.
im monitoring 4030 devices with an Q9550 8GB RAM and a raptor, cpu dont work much either. zenoss 224. load average 4% a few tips. i only gather performance from the core and distrubution down to the network, and selected switches near them. try to be selective if you can. I disabled the Google Maps thingy for the users, made my zenoss crumble all time someone tried to browse around. When you model, do you really want and need all routes ? For what ? go to collector plugins and remove zenoss.snmp.RouteMap from the list for the routers. makes devicemodeling work for me. did work well at all before i did this since the routers has big tables. Oh and turn off auto discovery on your networks also. poke around :D zenhub must be doing something there in the background. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=32579#32579 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
