I'm happy to say that we've finally had the opportunity to upgrade
Zope to the latest stable release -- namely, 2.11.2. In the process
we've upgraded CMFCore, OFolder, ManagableIndex, AdvancedQuery,
PluggableAuthService, PluginRegistry, GenericSetup, pycrypto and
simplejson.
For those of you on the trunk, this means a reinstall. Luckily the
upgrade process is no different from any other. Here are the basic
steps:
1. Shut down Zenoss
2. svn update $ZENHOME/{Products,bin,inst}
3. In Products, delete the following directories if they're hanging
around: AdvancedQuery CMFCore Five GenericSetup Hotfix_20070320
ManagableIndex OFolder PluggableAuthService PluginRegistry ZenTestRunner
4. Do a source upgrade like normal ($ZENHOME/inst/install.sh)
5. Run zenmigrate
6. Start up Zenoss again
