Hello I have a problem that has persisted through several weeks and I am hoping someone can shed some light.
I am monitoring two Windows processes from Zenoss (2.4.1) on a particular machine. I have created the regex patterns that match each and both have been tagged properly on the device. The windows box reboots once a week, and when it does the processes do not exist until rebooted. (normal) However, after reboot only one of the processes clear their "Does not exist" event, the other stays even if under the OS tab, both processes are green. I suspect that there is something about the process name that does not work well. If i look at the process event history, it is empty;whereas the other is normal and has all its event history visible. My process name resembles the following: Code: java.exe -cp lib/libA;lib/libB-1.8.0.jar;lib/libC.jar; I wonder if perhaps the slashes or semi-colons cause a problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Is this a bug somewhere in the process to event matching? Thanks for your help. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=35712#35712 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
