Did you ever find a solution to this? I have a lot of vhosts that I need to monitor and they're on the same IP. I have another Zenoss install (version 2.2.4) where the same vhosts are added even though they have the same IP. My current install is running 2.3.3 and not accepting multiple vhosts with the same IP.
