Yes, if I set the linkUp event to clear, then it does clear itself, and the corresponding linkDown. However, I want to know when an interface went down then back up, rather than it just being invisible. Ideally, I'd like the linkUp to clear itself and the linkDown, as well as generating a new internal event that I create (linkFlapped) or something.
