Could you please download and ./configure recent 0MQ? - I have made one change
in configure.in.
I have created src dist package for you
http://www.zeromq.org/local--files/area:download/zeromq-dev_280110.tar.gz
Please after configure run:
cat libtool | grep hardcode_libdir_flag_spec=
and post the result.

There were 2 problems with my build:
a.. libtool problem (fixed by copying /usr/bin/libtool into the build
directory)
b.. uuid-dev problem (I didn't have it, although I thought the error stems
from the libtool problem)
