OSX support has been added to OpenPGM 3.0.66, I have no intention of trying
to support it in the 2.1 branch as that means building GLib on OSX.  ZeroMQ
currently uses the 2.1 branch.

OSX doesn't support RFC3768 which includes IP version agnostic routines for
joining and leaving multicast groups and source-specific multicast (SSM).
 Also of note it appears the TSC is not usable at all despite the Intel
chipset.
