It took me a moment to realize your ridiculous disclaimer is not the message 
itself...

By interop you mean that a Java app, and a Python app, are communicating with 
each other via ZMQ?
As long as you parse the data correctly on both sides, there is no reason why 
interop should work from any language.
ZMQ itself does not enforce or imply any specific format for messages. It just 
transmits binary data, and it is up to you to decide on the actual format of 
your messages.
