Hi all, I am playing with a push pull example in scala using Giovanni's scala examples for: (tasksing, taskvent, taskwork)
I was wondering what kind of performance I should be expecting running as localhost. I am trying to achieve the MPS throughput that I saw mentioned on this blog site: http://blog.aggregateknowledge.com/2011/06/23/batch-acknowledged-pipelines-with-zeromq/#comment-291 I am only seeing 5000 or so MPS where the author shows a graph with over 1 Million per second using a batching/ACK. Can anyone tell me what I should be expecting and why when running the sample Scala code I mentioned above I get a much slower MPS. Is this what one could expect, or is there something radically wrong here. I am using OSX on a dual core macbook pro. All the best, Charlie _______________________________________________ zeromq-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zeromq.org/mailman/listinfo/zeromq-dev
