ANDHRA PRADESH BJHPD For Early Solution To Caste Row Hyderabad, July 07: Budiga Jangala Hakkula Porata Dandu (BJHPD) called for immediate categorisation of schedule castes into ABCDs. Addressing pressmen here on Saturday, BJHPD president, Chinta Rajalingam said that Budiga Jangalu is a sub-caste, deprived of reservation fruits as per their population, which were only benefiting a few dominating castes especially the Mala caste. He said that when the SC ABCD categorization was implemented as per Ramachandra Raju Commission for some time, which has benefited the 59 sub-castes in SCs to get a fair share. He said that they would meet Justice Usha Mehra commission in favour of categorisation, constituted to look into the categorisation issue on July 15. He informed that BJHPD will start cycle rallies in support of categorisation from July 11 from all mandals, divisions and District wise as part of 'Jaitra Yatra', which was started by MRPS president Manda Krishna from Ananthapur to intensify the categorisation struggle. On July 23, they will join with Manda Krishna in Hyderabad in their last fight to achieve categorisation, he asserted. BJHPD state vice president Ramulu, General Secretary, Laksmaiah and Ranga Reddy dt secretary, Hanumantu were also present.(NSS)
