Temple entry Minister for Fisheries and Muzrai B. Nagaraja Shetty said all women, including Dalit women, were allowed to perform puja in all temples in the State. No temple had prohibited puja by women, he told S.S. Patil (Congress). Mr. Patil refuted the statement made by Mr. Shetty and said a majority of temples were not allowing Dalit women to perform puja.
