BJP ask Govt to take not of atrocities on dalits in Haryana: RS TNN, Apr 22, 2010, 09.40pm IST NEW DELHI: Opposition BJP on Thursday raised the issue of dalit atrocities in Haryana, demanding the Centre take note of it happening in the Congress-ruled state. As soon as question hour was over in Rajya Sabha, BJP MP Balbir Punj said dalits had been murdered and wanted to draw the attention of the Chair towards the issue. BJP leader Prakash Javadekar said such atrocities have been taking place in a Congress-ruled state adding that it was shameful. The Deputy Chairman, however, did not allow the members to raise the issue further as no zero hour was scheduled and a calling attention motion was listed for the day.
