Andhra Pradesh - Rajahmundry Panel favours quota for SC/STs in private sector RAJAHMUNDRY: The National ST Commission will recommend the Centre to extend reservation for SCs and STs in the private sector also, says its member K. Kamala Kumari. She reviewed the development works and implementation of the rule of reservation for Schedule Tribes in various government departments in East Godavari district at the Sub-Collectors Office here on Friday. Later, speaking to the media she said that STs needed reservations in the private sector also and efforts would be made in that direction. The commission would work for implementation of welfare and developmental works for the STs in the nation, she said.
