As an adolescent, when still harbouring lofty aspirations of writing (definitely dont any longer !), had written a piece with an identical title. however, inclinations to mix up machines with feelings had already surfaced then, and the fact that the feelings were all cooked up, imagined, unfelt, meant that the piece has a very ersatz twang :) inspite of all that gory detail, i will nevertheless inflict you guys with this :
The Void. Windows of my furnace, made opaque with, thick black soot. Soot caused by years of stoking fires, burning passion. black enough for me to not discern friend from foe. until one day, a flood of tears, came and washed away, all the soot. Left behind, pure, pristine, the blank, grey walls of my heart..
