IT'S A CAT AND SPARROW STORY, Let her babble—she's always like that Today she is bothered about privacy. What of all those past instances That she has let me curl up Near her foot Now she detests my family. These moody affectation happen Why she leaves everything in the open? What does the Bible tell her? Crumbs for sparrow... We have kept her company When she wanted to smash the CPU. Today she blocks her ears to sparrow-lets we give her food for thought its all a cat and sparrow song she morphs our music and call it poetry we can spin tales too better than her old wives' tales much better than her one time novel and her voice-net poems tomorrow when she is left alone : she will yearn for us her ears awaiting padded paws flight of sparrow chirps perhaps we may never re-turn.
