hi all, i know very little of poetry and its just a matter of chance that am a part of this group... I don't know if the following lines are poetry or even in the same vicinity of something called poetry. All I know is that it took me months of courage gathered together to put them up here... I am looking forward to criticism for sure but a little consideration please :) thanks :)
Sequel
Eyes met, hearts melt, flowers blossomed
To be continuedÂ…
Let there be no sequel
Life is so much better if there is no tomorrow
If there is no after and no before
If only there was only the moment that she was living
Her heart pounding, pulse rating higher,
Thinking could this be him
Dreaming of her dream once again thinking this is him
Tomorrow there is no dream
Tomorrow she is suspicious, apprehensive
She canÂ’t reach out
She dares not to expect
Tomorrow is truth, she knows bitter
Future was never faithful to her present
