Can someone help me to change two words--salamander tongue and Alzhimer's skin? What I would like to convey is tasteless tongue and insensitive skin. Sivakami.
AM I OUT OF THE VANITY CIRCLE? I am not a stumbling poet. My seven senses open to trap images like a pitcher plant. Thoughts boil and melt and I pull out strands of lines in string consistency Know the exact moment to extricate them . Have no need to test drop in water. Have no need to bend my yellow beak and look down at my down feathers Or shake the water out off my duck back like a performing poet. Have no need to repeat certain lines twice to hammer distracted kids their ABC or toast imaginary pancakes in a mock appreciative gesture to focus on the twist in my poems. Can understand that in the Ghazel the repetitive couplet lounges in some erotic space. But what use is parroting to a plain forthright poet? Never going to spill Good red wine even if you spill equal quantity of redder wine I scratch my back You, yours Absolutely no mutual scratching Necessary. Perhaps I am in my Vanity circle I know the exact potential being sure I feel self assured And can doff at critics like Turning a blind eye, deaf ear dumb mouth, salamander tongue Alzheimer's skin and continue to pen my thoughts knowing full well I use a different idiom.
