My Pen speaks to me
My Pen speaks to me,
While I am writing
And stop for a while
In between, thinking,
Lounging lazily
And scratching my head.
I think about the world
Going round and round
About its own and
Not giving a damn.
Like the mind, it is bound
And carries the burden
Of thoughts not thought
of before
My Pen complains
of all this thinking
that I do, but expect
the Pen to be inking!
It rolls its head,
restlessly on paper,
trying to shape
the ideas that taper
My Pen asks me to stop
The writing
And take some pity
On its tampered tip-
That I have done enough
For the day, and must
Now fill up
The Drying Pot
Have been facing a lull for quite sometime now. This poem is a result of that... Wrote it just a while back. Fresh out of my mind!
