Hi Anuradha,
I enjoyed this poem, even though I felt it was uneven in parts, particularly the last couple of stanzas which somehow didn't hold my attention the way the first paragraphs did.
Loved the "vivid"ness of the kanakambarams and lamps and green banana leafs, as also the flavour of tamilian/mallu (?) weddings...

Clearly the precious pictures have gathered
even more dust
and wrinkles than us
