I'm surfing around the codebase, and can't find the proper place where
the 'recordsize' attribute is recorded. This is as anciliary to
wondering what the limitation on a maximum of 128k - if it would be
possible to up the size significantly (say, by several orders of
magnitude) and what the impact would be.
