Hi all, Is tar/star/gtar still the recommend $0 method of backing up files that live on ZFS (assuming one is using tape for off-site storage)?
If so, would I be correct in thinking that it is possible to extract just the file(s) one is interested in restoring from the tar archive without having to restore the whole thing?
