What capacity are you after?  Is this a 64 ore 32 bit system?

I was going to build a system with 4 500GB drives as 2x2 way mirrors
giving 1TB of storage (I ended up using 4x2 way mirrors of 320GB drives,
mainly for cost/performance reasons).
