I also have an nvidia video card in it, but I'm not sure of the model, and
doubt it has any role in this troubleshooting.

Well, I can give you a current one, but I've done about a hundred things
troubleshooting, so it isn't representative of what the issues were a few
days ago. I'm still trying to figure out why it's choking on any drive I
put into c8t2d0. It's stopped generating errors on c7t4d0, but I haven't
changed a thing with that slot outside of stopping the zpool replace and
restarting it a few times... which is also extremely odd to me.
