Ah, so that's what that was. I hit this problem some time ago, as was discussed here. Unfortunately, I also wrote more data into the recv'd filesystem before the next reboot, and only after that did the new fs become eunmountable. So, now that the bug is understood and fixed, if i still have the original dataset (source of the send), can I use that to recover the salt and thus the keys and new data? -- Dan.
