I've been using it since rc13. It's been stable for me as long as you don't get into things like zvols and such...

Can't speak from personal experience, but a colleague of mine has been PPA builds on Ubuntu and has had, well, less than stellar experience. It shows promise, but I'm not sure it's there yet.
