Job title: PeopleSoft Functional consultant Location: Plano, Texas Contract: 6 Months Job Description: The candidate should have the following education, skills and experience: . Bachelors Degree highly desired . 5 years experience with PeopleSoft HR & Payroll functionality, Application Designer, Oracle DB, SQL, SQR, PeopleCode & troubleshooting production issues & root cause analysis . 3+ years experience on PeopleSoft 8.8 or higher (8.9 preferred), PTools 8.46 or above & Application Engine . 2 years experience with Employee & Manager Self Service & Process Scheduler . 1 year experience with PeopleSoft Security, fit/gap analysis & PS COBOL . Clear understanding of mechanics of PeopleSoft Technical & Application Architecture . Familiarity with Workflow, Application Messaging, Integration Broker & Component Interface . Experience with middle tier Peoplesoft Components Application Server & Web Server a plus . Monitoring & troubleshooting Process Scheduler issues . Work with Business & Development Teams in improving & tun Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have the ability to design and develop efficient technical solutions for complex business issues on the PeopleSoft 8.9 HCM application. This person will work with several diverse teams including business analysts, Database Administrators, PeopleSoft System Administrators, Kronos developers and other PeopleSoft developers to design, develop, test and deploy sophisticated modifications on the PeopleSoft HR and Payroll modules. . PeopleSoft 8.9 HCM Developer . Work closely with IT Teams and Business Analysts in devising and designing efficient solutions to complex business issues . Design, develop, test and deploy batch (SQR, AppEngine) and online (PeopleCode) solutions .
