The data warehouse Extract Transform Load (ETL) team will create and deploy an ETL solution as part of a major system conversion. The project consists of staging and migrating data from numerous Oracle based source systems to a target system in Oracle and a data warehouse in SQL Server. There are two contract positions (requirements listed below) with a start date of 10/20/08. Responsibilities: a. Design, development and testing of ETL solutions. b. Troubleshooting and debugging of new and existing ETL solutions. c. Follow development standards while performing complex system analysis and design. d. Prepare, write, review and maintain effective system software procedures and documentation. e. Communicate with database administrators as well as source and target system development teams. Required Skills: a. Expertise in one or more ETL tools b. Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills c. Write complex queries, views and stored procedures d. Solid understanding of database normalization *e.
