Excellent communication skills and dealing with clients is required. *BF517 6mo Applications Systems Analyst Programmer-Lead* The Delivery and Reporting Operations team, part of the Operate and Maintain organization, is in search of a contractor to backfill an open Applications Systems Analyst position. *Work Summary:* The D&R Ops team is responsible for pre-admin, admin, post-admin iBT Test Delivery technical support. The team works with other SR&T teams, the SBU and operational teams (including, xBT Prod Support, Test Taker Advocacy, and OTI) to troubleshoot, resolve and escalate administration and candidate issues/ inquiries. The team is also responsible for the for eCBT (CLEP) development and technical support. The candidate must be able to work off hours and weekends, as the iBT administration schedule requires. *Responsibilities*: We are in search of a candidate with the following skill set: Experience in supporting complex systems in an Operate and Maintain environment. Strong problem solving ability, logic, and analytical skills. Team player w/ability to lead when necessary. Experience with troubleshooting, issue analysis and resolution, preferably in a technical production support environment. Ability to quickly resolve technical problems during critical and extremely time-sensitive live test administrations. Strong written and oral communication. Ability to multi-task and bring open issues to closure. Understanding of network and system concepts and terminology. Ability to document and assist in developing production support procedures. . *Technology*: Basic Unix/Linux, Java basics, SQL, Perl scripting, Windows scripting *Expertise Level needed*: 5-7+ years experience with the above Skill Set. *Education* The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, with coursework in the information processing or business-related curricula, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
