Ensures compliance of product software and business Quality System software. Formulates and executes software quality plans. MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures. 2.Provides coordination and guidance in preparation of compliance appraisals of programming languages and systems, computational software and related technology, and the integration of computers and software into the overall functions of both the quality system and product systems. Ensures systems are appropriately documented and validated. 3.Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable standards of robustness and reliability . Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives. 4.Ensures that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract. Reviews software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements. 5.Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. 6.Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability. 7.Establishes quality system policies. 8.Perform other related duties as assigned. JOB SKILLS: Proficient use of software quality and validation procedures, testing and methods Demonstrated proficiency in project management Strong analytical skills CQE Strong technical writing skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of Science degree in a software discipline with advanced study in the quality sciences and business management disciplines or equivalent experience. 9-13 years experience.
