Urgent need of UDB DB2 DBA in Des Moines, IA for a 1 year contract.
*Position: *Database Analyst *Duration: *1 year *Location: *Des Moines, IA *Position Description: * Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience. *Description: * -Leads the design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's physical, relational, and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. -Develops data architectures and database management policies and standards. -Provides senior-level consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. -Serve as a high-level resource on database management issues, and participate in the planning, design, and usage of data resources. -The Client need a UDB DB2 DBA who can support data marts/warehouses and be on-call. -Most of our environments our EEE with some EE. -This DBA contractor will also need to be included in the on-call rotation to support DB2 DBA. -A plus would be if this DBA also could support smaller MS SQL Server environments but is not a requirement. -The primary focus here is to have a strong DB2 DBA with EEE experience and has supported large data warehouses.
