This is my direct client opening for *Windows Apps QA Analyst / Testers - South Orange County, CA*. This is a *6-12 months* contract position. The Hourly rate is $*38*/hr. Need *local candidates only*. *Job Description:* *Purpose:* The primary responsibility of this position will be to create and execute test cases and procedures from specified project requirements. Other responsibilities include project defect tracking, test coordination, test execution, and test result verification. This position ensures that all benchmarks are being met and reported accurately to project developers and management. Oversee that all issues are being resolved properly and escalated according to QA lifecycle procedures. *Profile:* Candidate must be a self-starter with excellent communication and analytical skills. Candidate will have at least 5 years experience in application software testing. In addition, candidate must be organized, detail oriented, personable, have the ability to task switch easily and prioritize multiple projects, and be well suited to a very dynamic project environment. Candidate must be able to handle concurrent responsibilities and projects with limited supervision. A positive attitude, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, is necessary to meet the expectations of our corporate culture. *Qualifications:* Proven experience with Scrum/Agile development processes and/or knowledge of QA testing concepts within several Software Development Life Cycle methodologies a plus Must be current with manual testing processes and procedures. Experience with automation testing software such as AutomatedQA's Test Complete is considered a plus Technical proficiency to include familiarity with MS Office, Windows Operating Systems, SQL, and Client/Server environments Strong written and verbal communication skills *Duties:* Create and develop test cases and procedures as derived from specified project requirements and/or collaborative design sessions Coordinate testing resources for assigned projects Execute test cases and procedures; verify defect fixes Create and maintain all test results in a designated library Accurately report and track defects throughout the development life cycle Analyze and research issues to assist in support of production Pro-actively report critical issues and risks to management Calculate testing estimates and develop testing schedules for assigned projects Update changes and maintain all documentation related to the manual/automated testing process Develop and maintain effective communication skills in working with both technical and non-technical team members Coordinate the test set-up for all assigned projects, including environments, change control, and pre-defined data Attend product/project meetings and review as the Quality Assurance representative Actively participate in the Scrum Process Perform related duties as assigned * Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume.*** Full Name: Degree Major: Total IT Experience: Total Windows Apps QA Analyst / Testers exp: Total exp in application software testing: Total exp with Scrum/Agile development processes: Total Knowledge / exp QA testing concepts within several Software Development Life Cycle methodologies: Total manual testing processes exp: Total experience with automation testing software such as AutomatedQA's: Total exp with MS Office, Windows Operating Systems, SQL, and Client/Server environments: Whether is it C2C/1099/W2?
