Position: Java/J2EE Programmer Location: Austin, TX Duration: 8 months Rate: $45/hr 5+Years experience in the Information Technology industry Development experience with implementing applications involving WebSphere Portal Server, WAS (WebSphere Application Server), JSP (Java Servlets), LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), Java Portlets, EJB, JDBC (Java DataBase Connectivity), SQL (Structured Query Language), and JNDI (Java Naming and Directory Interface). Strong understanding and knowledge of the WebSphere/J2EE architecture, EJB, UML (Unified Modeling Language), Patterns/Frameworks, JDBC/ODBC (Oracle DataBase Connectivity), UML modeling & OOD (Object-Oriented Design / Development) skills, and J2EE integration points with external or third party products . Experience with coding languages and environments including but not limited to Java, J2EE, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), JSP (JavaServer Pages / Stored Procedures), JSF/Struts (JavaServer Faces, Apache Struts Framework), XML (eXtensible Markup Language), Spring, Hibernate and Oracle. Experience with WebSphere, RAD6 (Rational Application Development suite, Version 6), and Oracle.. Web Services development experience (e.g. XML, SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), WSDL (Web Services Description Language), and UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration).
