All employee Team members participate in a 24x7 on-call Production support rotation. An emerging responsibility of the Team is to provide Leadership and consulting to other Technology Teams and Business groups at SWA that could benefit from rules-based technology. The Team consists of 10-12 experienced developers and 1-2 PM/BAs. The primary focus of the Team is the development of Complex Event Processing (CEP) rules-driven applications in support of various Business functions at SWA. Primary toolset at this time is TIBCO Business Events, Business Works, Gaphical Interface, and Java. · OO Analysis and Design · Gap Analysis of existing software to current and future designs. · Working with relational databases, preferably Oracle · UML · Minimum of 2 years experience: · Development in a Unix environment (Solaris, Linux, HP-UX) · Apache Ant · Applications development experience in a Client / Server environment. · Service development using a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) *Required Non Technical Skills* · A minimum of 5 years IT experience on multiple platforms/technologies · Demonstrated success and strong experience with problem-solving abilities · Strong verbal communication skills · Strong Leadership skills · Experience with the complete SDLC · Ability to work well with customers · Proven ability to work well in cross- organizational Teams · Ability to provide quality and on-time delivery · Ability to adapt to change *Nice to have Technical Skills* · Experience with Knowledge Engineering, Rules-based· computing, Complex Event Processing, or Expert Systems · *Experience with TIBCO BE, TIBCO BW, TIBCO**·** EMS, TIBCO GI, CORBA* · Experience with Java 1.5 or· later · MULE or other ESB experience highly desireable. · · Experience with OO Analysis and Design· · Experience using Rational Rose, ClearCase and· ClearQuest · Unix shell scripting· · Integrated Development Environment – Eclipse, WSAD,· RAD · XML· · LDAP· · Code review and static· analysis * * *Nice To have Non Technical Skills* · Project Management skills· · Strong written communication· skills · Airline Industry· experience Thanks & Regards, Sandy Sr Technical Recruiter Global Computer Products Inc.
