Requirement: Job title : QA Lead Location : Wilmington, DE Contract Length : 3+ Months Job Description: The QA Lead has the following skills and qualifications: 7+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology 5+ years development/testing experience in a large multi-platform environments with working knowledge of associated technologies. 3+ years of managerial/supervisory experience in matrixed organization 5+ years QA process development and re-engineering. 3+ years of project management experience SQA Analysis- Ability to read and comprehend business requirements and high level design deliverables well enough to create detailed test cases. Ability to map test cases to business requirements. Detailed understanding of development lifecycle and quality assurance phases; Basic understanding of application architecture in order to identify quality issues related to design or distribution of application components Applications Development or IS Quality Assurance testing experience required Experience creating and implementing test environments for a client-server or distributed system involving relational databases Mercury Quality Center and other similar tools - Basic understanding including navigation between functional areas within the tool. Ability to input or load and execute test cases and document actual results within the tool. Ability to pull data from testing tools for reporting. Automated test script execution and maintenance. Experience with Winrunner/QTP and knowledge of VB and Excel VBA. Can write and execute advanced SQL statements Experience creating detailed test cases/scripts for technical and/or business clients High proficiency with UNIX and Oracle Can provide MIS and interpret results as related to a software project's "health" and its risks.
