The candidate will work with a team of developers and design an enterprise level internet portal with collaborative software . This position will require interaction with IT managers, directors and business teams to gather portal technical requirements, deliver detail technical design along with hardware/software recommendations. Main job responsibilities Define site architecture and perform portal development. Candidate will be accountable for implementation, debugging, testing and enhancing web portal functionality, performance, security and utilization. Work with the team to refine site architecture and implement a new portal platform in enterprise content management, collaboration tools, web-based community solutions and reporting applications. Analyze business requirements for SharePoint Portal Solutions and recommending solution architectures, as well as infrastructure topologies and hardware requirements Skills: Web 2.0 technologies, web design / development, Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Content Management, Enterprise Search, Business Process, and/or Business Intelligence. Candidates should have an understanding of business workflows. Experience level: 5+ Years in Portal Development BS in Computer Science or a related degree 8+ years of software development experience including 2+ years in as a Development Manager, Software Architect, or Technical Project Leader - Strong organizational leadership skillsThorough knowledge of the following web technologies: .NET Framework or Java, XML, Web Services. Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, and / or SharePoint Designer 2007.
