Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. *SKILLS:* Open Position: Data Systems Analyst *Description:* A Data Systems Analyst is needed to assist with the clients Sales & Underwriting IT project. The Data Systems Analyst will primarily be responsible for the data conversion from an existing Plan Design application to a new Plan Design application as part of the Product Book of Record project. This will require reviewing business requirements, analyzing data from the existing application, and working with the enterprise data architect to build and populate a new Client Product repository. The Data Systems Analyst must also translate the business requirements into technical use cases for the services team. In addition, the data analyst will assist quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, preferably with some development experience. Understanding of database design concepts and terminology, and ability to write SQL queries is required. Candidate should be proficient in Access, and must have strong analytical skills. DB2 knowledge would be a plus. They must also be thorough and detailed with documentation, but efficient enough to meet aggressive deadlines. The candidate should feel comfortable managing priorities and working with limited assistance to complete assigned tasks on time.
