The Hourly rate is DOE.** *Job Title :* Software Applications Engineer/Programmer II *Job Description :* Under limited supervision, assists in the analysis, design, programming, and modifications for software products and/or customer applications. Writes code and completes programming, testing, and debugging of applications. Finalizes forms, procedures, and documentation needed for installation and maintenance of application programs. Interfaces with marketing and customers to add new or custom features to company products. May use a wide range of disciplines such as distributed networking and databases, communications, and multiprocessing applications. Requires firm background in software engineering including analysis, design, implementation and verification. Typically requires a degree in computer science, and 2 to 4 years related experience. Requires familiarity with many of these technologies: DOS/Windows, OS/2, 32-bit Windows Programming, OLE Automation and OLE Control, Win32 Windows Device Drivers, Windows NT, C++, Assembler, GUI, Java, Java Script, HTML, DHTML, Active Server Pages, OLE DB, DCOM, and ActiveX. May be involved in the development/support of BIOS, drivers or system software and tools such as ICE, soft-ICE, and kernel debugger.; *Additional Job Description:* Senior developer with *5+ years of development using C++, Java, and JSP*. You will be working with a group of developers to enhance and maintain self-service applications in the travel industry. *Candidate should have practical experience with unix/linux, windows, and Tomcat.
