Please let me know, If you have any suitable consultants available on the below urgent requirement Title : VB Developer Location : San Antonio, TX Start Date : ASAP Duration : 6 months Rate : $35/ HR on C2C Phone screen followed by In-person interview Need two professional references from recent projects Rate : $35/ HR on C2C Work Summary The candidate filling this Applications Programmer - Intermediate position will be required to support the Form Planner Creation/Validation, Status Changes, and Reporting for the various K12 programs supported by the SAO Item Bank and testing of the Client Item Bank for those programs having one. Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be responsible for: · Maintain & enhance the form planner process programs, redesigning error reports for better usability · Change Request documentation · Execute E2E test for any and all changes using formal test plans · Execute E2E testing for client item bank updates using formal test plans · Work with other team members to identify impacts for any requested changes Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience: The ideal candidate must have outstanding technical expertise with a variety of database technologies. Must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have 5 years of programming experience with a minimum of 3 years experience with Visual Basic 6 and VBA using Word and Excel in conjunction with a relational database. Experience in MS SQL and formal test procedures is preferred. Knowledge of VB.Net, XML and/or Adobe Photoshop is a plus, but not required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include: · Knowledge of VB6, VBA, MS SQL. a.. IT knowledge in software development methodologies/processes, systems analysis, design, implementation and documentation. b.. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to consult with and interact with clients, vendors and other internal staff. c.. Time management skills sufficient to handle multiple project assignments and priorities. Education The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or higher, with coursework in the information processing or business-related curricula, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
