Thanks for your suggestion jens, but my java applet is working outside zope, it has no problem with mySQL database. Only when I integrate my applet into zope, it can not take mySQL data anymore. That's why I request suggestions here. I am still hoping somebody knows how to fix this problem. :-(

Hello!
Currently, I am trying to integrate one java applet to plone CMS. However, since my applet use mysql database, the applet from plone/ zope can't get the mysql data from localhost. Can we store mysql data inside ZODB ? Or what is the ways to get it from mysql database?
Please give me suggestions how to overcome this problem.
(I have tried to connect mysql database to zope as external, it works with DTML and ZPT but I do not know how to do with my java applet )

I'm afraid this question has nothing at all to do with Zope or the ZODB. Please ask on a forum specific to the Java applet you use and/ or MySQL, your problem is entirely related to your applet and MySQL.
