Depending on your release process you can add a couple of roadmap items
in later alpha releases. I haven't seen any reactions, positive or
negative, to this this suggestion. Does that mean there are no
objections?

I haven't seen anyone object yet. Spoke a little bit with Hanno here at the DZUG conference as well and from my point of view there's nothing in the way of pushing some of these roadmap items up to CMF 2.2.
