I merged the branch back to zope.component and fixed zope.sendmail, which was importing a security-related symbol from zope.component.zcml; I ran the ZTK tests and I have no failures. The only missing thing is to release the new versions of zope.component and zope.sendmail and (maybe) update the ZTK KGS. I don't have the permissions to do the release, though. Best regards.
