Too common, though improvements have been made recently. If you're using buildout, it's easy to use a faster index that doesn't go down so easily. Set the index to Jim Fulton's ppix like this: [buildout] index = http://download.zope.org/ppix/ I added this to my ~/.buildout/default.cfg, and it's helped a lot. -Fred -- Fred L.
