Ayhan, **Thank you** Actually, my drivers were compiled against 8.1.6.1 (on Linux) too, and I'm communicating with an Oracle 7.3.3 database (on a separate Solaris box). Could that be part of the problem? I don't think there was an Oracle 7 for Linux. Are there some settings I could change to make my drivers more "Oracle 7 compatible" ?
